April & May Reading Challenge Updates

So it looks like I skipped updating my reading challenges for April. So this post will have April and May progress reports.

I'm finally nearing the end of my ARC TBR list and I couldn't be happier! Not that I don't enjoy reading these books. I just accepted too many too close together (many with only a week between deadlines). This would be ok if I had gotten around to reading some of these earlier. I'm looking forward to reading some books I've had for a while. I picked up Slammed by Colleen Hoover for $1.50 yesterday and would like to get to it sooner rather than later. Plus I've got several books I'd purchased or got free earlier this year that I'd like to read. On to the progress reports.

 There were a few challenges that I didn't have any progress for in April and May. But I did read six books in April and five books in May.

 

2016 Reading Challenge March Update

I meant to post this update last week but didn't get to it. In March I read four books, but I didn't really pay attention to whether they'd count for my challenges. Once I compiled all the details, I realized that I only made progress on one of my challenges in March. I've been reading a lot of ARCs lately and I'm thinking that I probably won't do much better in April. Oh, well! Read on!

January Wrap-Up

Weekly Wrap-Up

This was a busy week. One of last week's basketball games was rescheduled for this week. That made four basketball games for the week. Four, I say! Add this to a stressful week at work and I was exhausted by Wednesday night. I was reading some great books this week and found it impossible to go to bed early instead of reading a bit before going to sleep. So that made for late nights.

I finished three books this week which I find amazing. My favorite read of the week was Rarity by D.A. Roach. It was a real tear jerker!  I didn't have much time for visiting other blogs this week and have been trying to makeup for it today. I've been visiting some other like posts today and have found a few books to add to my TBR list.
